The TD-50KV2 from Roland is the flagship kit in the company's V-Drums series of electronic drum kits. This configuration is designed to provide musicians with studio-quality sounds, courtesy of the TD-50X module, and a realistic playing experience in a full-size kit that's at home both onstage and in the studio.

In addition to the module, the kit also includes a 14" PDA-140DS digital snare, two 10" PD-108 toms, two 12" PD-128 toms, one 14" VH-14D hi-hat, two 16" CY-16R-T crashes, one 18" CY-18DR ride, and a 18" KD-180 kick drum. The components mount on the included highly adjustable, yet rugged, MDS-Stage 2 stand.

The TD-50X Drum Sound Modules stores up to 100 drum kits (over 50 presets) and over 900 individual instruments. Each instrument can be customized with compression, EQ, reverb, and multi-effects. Play along to songs with the onboard song player, and import your own songs and sounds for practicing and jamming via an SD card (available separately).

Note: This package does not include a kick pedal, a snare stand, a hi-hat stand, a drum throne, or an SD card.

Authentic Mesh Heads
The TD-50KV2 features Roland's famous multi-ply mesh heads, with a three-layer head on the snare and two-layer heads on the toms providing natural stick resistance and rebound for ultrasatisfying feel and response. When performing with electronic drums, the ability to process sounds outside the kit is vital. The TD-50X has ten fully assignable outputs for sending the house engineer whatever drums they need, with or without effects. And via faders on the panel, you can easily control the mix from the stage when you're on your own. The TD-50X also excels for computer music production, with the ability to send up to 32 simultaneous channels of digital audio plus MIDI over USB for premium-quality transfer.

The TD-50X is loaded with practice features that make every session fun, productive, and rewarding. Improve your timing with the metronome and Coach mode exercises, or simply jam along with music played from a smartphone or laptop. The onboard recorder lets you capture and review your playing at any time, complete with the ability to export audio (with or without backing music) for sharing with others. And you can extend your practice even further with Melodics, a free desktop app that comes with 40 lessons plus unlimited access via a subscription when you're ready for more.

Roland MDS-Stage 2 Drum Stand (Component Box from Main Kit)

The Roland MDS-Stage 2 drum stand offers top-tier support for the TD-50KV2 flagship kit and other V-Drums sets. With a stylish, yet rugged chrome finish, high-grip rubber feet, and durable all-metal ball-joint clamps, the stand provides rock-solid support for serious drummers. The pad/cymbal arms offer a wide range of adjustability to accommodate players of many sizes, while the internally routed connection cables makes for a fast and tidy set up.

The central horizontal bar can accommodate full size kick drums such as the KD-220 or KD-222 or a 22" acoustic kick outfitted with the available separately KD-A22 Kick Drum Converter.

Roland KD-180 V-Drums 18" Bass Drum

The Roland KD-180 is a V-Drums 18" bass drum designed to deliver the look and playability of an acoustic kick for drummers at rehearsal, in the studio, or onstage. It features an 18 x 12" 7-ply birch shell with custom chrome shell fittings and pre-installed kick trigger electronics. With accurate triggering and a natural playing feel, it is optimal in electronic kits and alongside acoustic drums. Its 1/4" trigger output allows standardized connectivity with most drum modules and brains. The KD-180 works with single and double kick pedals (available separately).
