The Yamaha DTX10K-X Electronic Drum Kit with DTX-PROX Drum Module adds the traditional look of birch-wrapped shells with a real wood finish to the electronic drumming experience. The kit features a 12" snare pad, two 10" toms, and a 12" tom, all with real wood shells and TCS heads with natural playing and rebound feel for enhanced playability. Also included is a 12" kick tower pad, a 13" hi-hat with a traditional stand, a 13" cymbal, a 15" cymbal, a 17" cymbal, a high-quality RS10-HRX rack system, and a 10-channel snake cable and various accessories.
The top-tier DTX-PROX drum module features the Kit Modifier FX function for easy sound sculpting and adds more knobs and faders to the front panel for additional quick parameter adjustments. The module's Live Set functionality gives you the ability to store your prearranged custom kits for quick recall during gigs. Additional outputs have also been added, giving you up to 8 individual sound outputs along with the stereo mix out.
The RS10-HXR Hexrack stand is included, providing a flexible and strong stand for the kit. Cubase AI DAW software is also supplied, allowing you to record, edit, and mix your music. A kick-drum pedal, drum throne, and drum sticks are all available separately.
The Yamaha DTX-PROX Drum Module adds several advancements to the popular DTX-PRO module, with individual audio outputs, LED adjustment knobs, and volume faders now onboard for quick and precise control. The unit's expressive sound engine still features the Kit Modifier function, which allows you to dial in custom ambience, compression, and effects; but settings can now be stored and recalled quickly using the Live Set Recall function.
The DTX-PROX has been engineered to provide a wide variety of realistic drum and percussion sounds with authentic details from the initial attack to the final cutoff, all based on premium instruments tuned by a skilled sound director. Additionally, professional drummers from around the world evaluated the performance of the DTX-PROX, allowing Yamaha to improve the expressive capabilities for even better performance. More than 700 sounds are onboard, with 70 preset kits and 200 user kits available for storage.
The DTX-PROX features a variety of connections. Use USB to send and receive MIDI and audio data to DAW software or a smart device. A standard DIN MIDI connector allows you to send MIDI signals to any MIDI device, such as a hardware sequencer. Up to 14 triggers or pads can be connected to the trigger inputs, making it simple to create a hybrid setup with electronic pads and acoustic drums. In addition to the two mono 1/4" outputs, four stereo 1/4" outputs let you send up to 8 individual sounds to your mixer. Play along to your favorite music via the 1/4" aux input or the wireless Bluetooth connection.

The Yamaha DTP10-X TCS Pad Set with Wood Shells is the pad set included with the DTX10K-X Electronic Drum Kit. The kit brings the look and feel of birch-wrapped shells with a real wood finish to the full-size set of electronic toms, snare, and kick. The set features an XP125SD-X 12" snare pad, two XP105T-X10" toms, an XP125T-X 12" tom, and a KP128 12" kick pad. The toms and snare feature textured cellular silicone (TCS) heads, while the kick features a two-ply mesh head from REMO. Also included are three CL940MB ball clamps to attach the toms to a stand (available separately).
A precise layer of tiny bubbles on the TCS surface of the pads provides a quiet playing and practicing experience with a natural drumming feel and stick rebound similar to real acoustic drums. The toms and snare all offer two-zone (head and rim) triggering for a realistic response to your playing.
The KP128 kick is engineered with the softest material in front and the hardest material at the back—making it comfortable to play and giving the pad a distinctive onstage appearance. The kick's REMO mesh head is tunable and provides a quiet and durable surface. The kick pad is portable but still offers robust spurs that provide a high degree of stability for players.
The pads are compatible with the DTX-PRO and the DTX-PROX drum modules (available separately).
The Yamaha DTC10 Cymbal Pad and Hardware Set has the same pads and hardware set available on the DTX10 series of electronic drum kits. This full-size set includes the PCY175 17" ride, PCY155 15" cymbal, PCY135 13" cymbal, RHH135 13" hi-hat, SS662 snare stand, HS704A hi-hat stand, and three CH755 long-boom cymbal holders. All three of the included cymbals feature 3-zone hit detection to provide a highly accurate response to your playing. The set also provides a 10-channel cable to connect the pads and cymbals to the drum module.
The Yamaha RS10-HXR is an aluminum drum rack built to accommodate the DTX10 series of electronic drum kits. Lightweight yet strong and sturdy, the rack uses the HexRack II system, which was originally designed for acoustic drums and features interchangeable hardware components for added flexibility. In addition, the unique and rigid hexagonal structure provides additional support and strength.
The rack provides three leg components, two curved pipe assemblies, an arm for your drum trigger module, and a drum key. The left side of the rack has been specifically designed to accommodate hi-hat stands and double kick pedals (both available separately) while still providing ample room for playing. Clamps and memory clamps are at the integrated bubble level, which help ensure the rack is properly flat for optimal performance.
